Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, joined forces with popular influencer, Enioluwa, to record a cover of the 1985 hit song, We are the World. The recording was done to mark Children's day, and it featured a host of stars drawn from the entertainment industry. Some of the Nollywood stars who were part of the recording are Sola Sobowale, Shaffy Bello, Fathia Balogun, Odunlade Adekola, and Toyin Abraham.
Richard Mofe-Damijo, Nkem Owoh, Kate Henshaw, and Funke Akindele, are part of the stellar cast, of the movie CHIEF DADDY, which will be released in cinemas across Nigeria on December 14. The movie was directed by Nigerian filmmaker, Niyi Akinmolayan (The Wedding Party 2, The Arbitration). Also in the movie are Kate Henshaw, Taiwo Obileye, Rachel Oniga, Ini Edo, and Linda Ejiofor. Hip Hip Hooray! Today (July 19) is the birthday of Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw. She is from Cross River State, Nigeria. She attended the School of Medical Laboratory Science, LUTH, where she majored in Medical Microbiology. The first movie she appeared in was When The Sun Sets (1993). Africa Magic on Monday (July 6, 2015) launched it's latest sitcom, DoGood, at a glamorous event, which was held in Lagos, at the Oriental Hotel. Present at the launch were lead actor, Basorge Tariah Jnr., and star actress, Kate Henshaw, who also appears in the sitcom. Others in attendance include Wangi Mba-Uzuokwu (Regional Manager, Africa Magic), John Ugbe (MD, Multichoice Nigeria), Ini Edo, Bryan Okwara, Funmi Holder, Charles Novia, Segun Arinze, Bovi Ugboma, and Helen Paul. The Lekki home of Nollywood star, Kate Henshaw, was on Thurday (June 25, 2015), gutted by fire. According to reports, the fire started from an air conditioner in the building, from which it spread to other areas of the house. The fire outbreak is thought to have been caused by a power surge, which occurred after electricity was restored to the building, following a power outage. The fire was put out with the assistance of neighbors and passers-by, but not until after a substantial amount of property had been lost to the blaze. Fortunately, no life was lost in the incident.
Comic great and renowned Nollywood actor, Basorge Tariah Jnr. is returning to the small screen as Africa Magic premieres its new Pidgin English sitcom, Do-Good, on Monday, 6 July, 2015. Do-Good, which is a spin-off of a popular Nigerian drama series of the 1990s, features the exploits of the titular character Do-Good, played by Tariah, who returns from a sojourn abroad to woo his sweetheart Emem, played by Nollywood leading lady Kate Henshaw.

Iquo's Journal is a powerful social drama written and directed by Blessing Effiom Egbe. It stars Kate Henshaw, Femi Jacobs, Malachi Hart, Blessing Effiom Egbe, and Josephine Ewuru. Kate Henshaw plays the title character, Iquo, who falls victim to AIDS, in the movie. AMVCA winner, Femi Jacobs, plays Banjo Ogunleye, a filmmaker, who is married to Kate Henshaw's character. Iquo's Journal is an emotional and brilliantly acted movie, which takes a balanced look at the reality of living with AIDS. Kate Henshaw is shooting a new movie in Asaba titled Public Assault (directed by Tchidi Chikere). In the movie, she gets beaten up in the marketplace, when she gets into a fight. Pictures of the fight scene show that the fight was very physical - to the extent that the adversaries were rolling in the dust.
