THROWBACK THURSDAY: AKUME AKUME, MAUREEN SOLOMON, AND JOHN NJAMAH


It's throwback Thursday! Our throwback picture is picture of Akume Akume, Maureen Solomon, and John Njamah, which was taken on the set of the 2003 epic movie, Beyond The Song. The movie was directed by David Uro and produced by Smooth Ebide. In the movie, Princess Mma (Maureen Solomon) and Prince Ifeka (Akume Akume) are promised to one another. CELEBRITY BIRTHDAY: JOHN NJAMAH


Hip Hip Hooray! Today (April 17) is the birthday of Nollywood actor and director, John Njamah. He is from Njaaba in Orlu local government of Imo State. He attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, where he studied Dramatic Arts. Some of his movies are The Cartel, Kings Cult, and Heartbeats. He is also well known for his character as Rabiu on the sitcom, Fuji House of Commotion. Join us in wishing him a happy birthday.

SPOTTED: FEMI BRANCH, OMONI OBOLI, MONALISA CHINDA, AND UFUOMA MCDERMOTT AT 4NL MEETING

'THE CARTEL' HITS CINEMAS


The action thriller, The Cartel, opens in cinemas across Nigeria today (June 28). The movie was produced by Chinneylove Eze, and directed by Austin Faani. It was short in Port Harcourt, and stars Luclay Misoya (South Africa), Martha Ankomah (Ghana), Mike Ezuruonye (Nigeria), Elizbeth Gupta-Pam (Tanzania) and John Njamah (Nigeria).

Revenge, malice, and backstabbing meet at a crossroad in a bid to settle a score between Bryan, Orlando and Denzel and their meetng point is The Cartel.
