Rita Dominic and Bayo Alawiye have completed work on the movie, Mary Magdalene, after four weeks of filming. The movie was announced with much fanfare, at a signing ceremony, which took place in March. Mary Magdalene was directed by Afe Olumowe, and also stars Femi Jacobs.
Hip Hip Hooray! Today (April 21) is the birthday of actor, producer, and director, Bayo Alawiye. He attended the University of Ibadan, where he studied Theatre Arts. Some of the movies he has appeared in are Richie Richie, Dark Side, Oritoke, and Ija Okan. He directed the first 26 episodes of the sitcom, About to Wed. He is also the director of MTN Project Fame, and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
The premiere of the movie, Darkside (directed by Bayo Alawiye), has been scheduled for October. The movie will be released will be released in cinemas across Nigeria, one week after the premiere. The movie stars Joseph Benjamin, Bayo Alawiye, Uru Eke, Nobert Young, Yemi Solade and Sylvia Udeogu.
