Hip Hip Hooray! Today (May 26) is the birthday of veteran Nigerian actor, Antar Laniyan. He was born in Osogbo, Osun State. He attended Baptist Secondary School in Lagos, and later University of Ibadan, from where he obtained a degree in Theatre Arts. Some of the notable movies he has appeared in, include Most Wanted, Kakanfo, The Return of Jenifa, and The Return of Kesari.
Antar Laniyan, Akin Lewis, and Ayo Adesanya, have just completed a new movie titled Ise Aje. The movie was shot in Magodo, Lagos, and it was directed by Sam Boye.

Agbelebu Mi (My Burden), a new movie, starring Antar Laniyan and Fathia Balogun will be premiered in Lagos on June 24. The premiere will take place at LTV 8 (Hall 1), in Agindingbi, Ikeja. The premiere starts at 1pm. Agbelebu Mi was directed by Lekan Oropo.
