NOLLYWOOD ACTRESS, ALWELL ADEMOLA, PASSES ON AT 43


Nollywood filmmaker, Allwell Ademola, passed away on Saturday (December 27, 2025) at the age of 43. She passed away at Ancilla Hospital, Agege, where she was taken to for medical attention. There are unconfirmed reports that she suffered a heart attack. The news of her death came as a rude shock to many of her colleagues, some of who spoke to her earlier on Saturday.

Allwell Ademola hails from Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria. Her grandfather was former Chief Justice of Nigeria, Sir Adetokunbo Ademola. She was born, August 9, 1982. She attended Western College, Yaba, and Itologe Girls Secondary School, Surulere. She studied English at Obafemi Awolowo University. After her unviversity education, she obtained a Diploma in Performing Arts from Jovis Perfection Press, Surulere.

She started acting at an early age. She decided to start acting professionally after completing her university degree. One of the first movies she appeared in was The Drought Promise (produced by Cliff Igwe). Allwell Ademola was a multi-talented filmmaker. She was more than just an actress. She also wrote, produced, and directed several movies, during her lifetime. Some of the movies she starred in include Shattered Innocence, Surrogate, Edidi Ibi, Omo Emi, Mimi's Voice, and Third Eye
