PLANNING COMMITTEE SOLICITS DONATIONS FOR MR. IBU'S FUNERAL

The planning committee for the burial of late Nollywood actor, John Okafor, (aka Mr. Ibu), has appealed to the public for donations to help give the actor a befitting funeral. This was contained in a statement signed by Hon Monday Diamond (Chairman), Ijele Christy Ozioma Ejiofor (Secretary), and Emeka Rollas (President AGN).

In the statement, the committee reiterated that the treatment of the actor, prior to his death, had consumed millions of naira. Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin and a few others, who had already given towards the funeral, were acknowledged in the statement. 

In another development, a GoFundMe account has been opened by one Alexander Nwokeabi, purpotedly to raise funds for the funeral of the late actor, as well as to support his little children. The goal of the GoFundMe is $40,000, but it is yet to attract any donation.

The funeral of the late actor will run fir five days, beginning on June 25, and ending on June 30.
