AFRICAMAGIC SHOWCASE TO AIR KUNLE AFOLAYAN'S 'OCTOBER 1' ON INDEPENDENCE DAY
AfricaMagic Showcase (DStv channel 151) will be showing Kunle Afolayan's award-winning psychological thriller, October 1, at 17:30CAT (4:30pm Nigerian time this Thursday (October 1, 2015). The broadcast will coincide with the Independence Day of Nigeria. October 1 stars Sadiq Daba, Kehinde Bankole, Kayode Olaiya, Fabian Lojede, and Demola Adedoyin. The movie is about Danladi Waziri (Sadiq Daba), a police officer from Northern Nigeria, who is posted to the remote town of Akote, to investigate a series of female murders. He must solve the mystery before the Nigerian flag is raised on October 1, Nigeria’s Independence Day.
