The
Screen Nation Film & Television Awards 2015 known as the ‘black Bafta’s’,
took place on Sunday February 15, at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel, in London.
The swanky ceremony recognized exceptional achievements on the British screen
by many of the nation’s best loved film & TV stars. The movie ‘Invasion 1897’ by Lancelot Imasuen won
in the category of Favourite African UK Movie (made by or featuring
significantly British based talent)...
‘Invasion
1897’ beat other African movies in this category like Double Cross, Gone
Too Far, Love or Something Like That, The Devil in Freetown and others. The
movie has gone fully global as it continues to screen in various locations and
cinemas in the UK and Europe.
