KUNLE AFOLAYAN'S 'OCTOBER 1' MOVIE BAGS NETFLIX DEAL

Award winning Nollywood film maker, Kunle Afolayan has revealed that his movie 'October 1' has gotten a deal with Netflix, one of the top providers of online streaming media.

Afolayan exposed this in an interview with The Nation:
“I am happy and delighted to announce that October 1 has gotten a deal with Netflix. Netflix covers the whole of Europe and America. That means the film will be exposed to the world. It is a distribution deal. Netflix is an SVOD platform, an online platform that you can watch on your television. Their application is everywhere. They are one of the most recognised SVOD platforms around the word.”
This deal also is going to see the movie subtitled in 10 different languages and this means more global impact for 'October 1' which already has been selected for major film festival around the world. Like Pan African Film Festival (PAFF) in Los Angeles, Luxor Film Festival in Egypt.
