Hip! Hip! Hooray!! Today (January 7) is the birthday of
Nollywood actor and director, Yul Edochie, son of Nollywood veteran actor, Chief
Pete Edochie. Yul grew up partly in Lagos and the eastern part of Nigeria He
joined the movie industry after his training in Theatre Arts in University of
Port Harcourt in 2003. He featured in his very first movie, ‘The Exquires’ in 2005
and he has been on an up and onward movement to stardom ever since.
Other
movies he has starred in are: Wind of
Glory, Pleasure and Crime , Tears of Hope, Don't Wanna Be a Player, Give
It Up, Kiss My Pain, My Confession, Piece of My Soul, Blood
Apart, Bridge of Contract, Deep Water and lots more. In 2009 he
won the city people’s award for best new actor and was nominated in 2011 for
