Hip! Hooray!! Today (January 14) is the birthday of Nollywood actress Ireti
Osayemi. She is one of the popular faces in the Yoruba Movie Industry. She
studied Economics at the Lagos State University, Lagos. Ireti Osayemi made her
way into the Nollywood Movie Industry in 1999. Her brilliant performance in the
Funke Akindele produced comedy ‘Jenifa’, has won her more fame. Some of her
other movies are: Torn Apart, Heavy Storm, Sunday Dagboru, Ifepada,
Ese Osi, Igba Edo, Ayanmo Mi and
others. She has won a number of awards such as Afrohollywood Award as the best
actress 2010 (Yoruba category). Join us to wish her a happy birthday.
