Movienatics Entertainment and Vivid I.M are set to release their first feature film titled The Refute. An epic story of love, betrayal, survival, and loyalty, set in the early slave days. The film tells a story of a young man Chima a bad blood, who was sentenced to death in the evil forest because of his love for the princess. Chima will have to fight death and evil spirits to stay alive in the evil forest with a hope of seeing the Princess again but then he discovers an evil plot that changed everything.
Shot at choice locations in Imo state, the movie features new faces of Nollywood and brings variety to the big screen. It stars Chris Ajoku, Thelma Iheanacho, and Obi Anuks. The film also features Scotland-based Nollywood actor, producer, and director Sobe Umeh. The Refute was produced by Thelma Iheanacho and written and directed by Chidi Udensi (screenwriter for In The Music).
