BOB-MANUEL UDOKWU BAGS AMAA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD


Nollywood star, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, received a well-deserved Lifetime Achievement award at the just concluded Africa Movie Academy Awards, which took placce in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, last Saturday (May 24, 2014). The actor showed an early interest in acting, and he studied Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt. He was a cast member of the popular 90s soap opera, Checkmate, which was produced by the late Amaka Igwe. He starred in Living in Bondage, which is widely regarded as the first Nollywood movie.

A talented and dedicated actor, he has appeared in numerous productions over the course of his career. Some of his movies are Mothering Sunday, Christian Marriage, Games Women Play, Lion's Den, and Adesuwa. He was recently appointed as Senior Special Assistant on Movie/Entertainment Industry to Governor Willie Obaino of Anambra State. Join us in saluting this Nollywood icon.
