Awesome April continues on AfricaMagic today (April 20), with the movie Anita. The movie will be aired at 20:00 WAT on AfricaMagic Entertainment (DSTV 154). Anita stars Cecilia Agu, Wole Ojo, Paul Sambo, Ibinabo Potts-Johnson, Dele Omgbai, Michael Akeme, and Amaka Obi. It was directed by Alex Mouth.
Synopsis
An ugly woman carries the burden of her physical looks. She suffers at the hands of society, which only looks at the surface and thinks that beauty the type you only see in magazines.
Note: An omnibus of 5 AfricaMagic Original Movies will also be aired today from 13:30 WAT through 16:14 WAT. The 5 movies are The Maid, 11AM, Dilemma, Top Spot, and Blurred Lines.
