RITA DOMINIC - FROM KENYA WITH LOVE

Shooting will soon be completed on a new film, titled SHATTERED, which stars Rita Dominic in the lead role. The studio behind the movie is Nairobi-based Dream House Productions. The producer of the movie is Carol Nguta, and the director is Gilbert Lukalia.
Starring alongside Rita in this movie are a number of major Kenyan actors - these include Mumbi Maina, Robert Burale, Allan Adika and Naomi Wambui . SHATTERED is the first collaboration of its type, between the Kenyan and Nigerian film industries. This may be a sign of things to come, as we fully expect to see more actors and actresses from Nollywood participate in international productions.

Synopsis

SHATTERED tells the story of a woman whose traumatic childhood in a seemingly ideal middle class family becomes a precursor to a life of turmoil, depression, and self destructive behaviour. Inspired by several true life stories, the plot of "Shattered" will keep the viewer enraptured from beginning to end as the protagonist KEZIAH NJEMA (Rita Dominic) struggles to overcome enduring psychological destruction caused by years of abuse.
