MERCY JOHNSON IS GETTING MARRIED!

Yes, it's true - Mercy Johnson is getting married, and this is for real, not a Nollywood movie. The sexy, talented actress has finally put the speculations in the media about her marriage to rest, by announcing firm plans for her wedding ceremony. Mercy will be getting married to her fiancé, Prince Odianose Okojie in August. The marriage will be a 4-day event beginning on August 25th and ending on August 28th.

The court wedding between Mercy and her fiancé is scheduled for August 25th.Her traditional engagement will take place on August 26th. Her church wedding and reception will take place on August 27th, while her wedding thanksgiving will take place on 28th. Interestingly, August 28th will be a double celebration for Mercy, as her birthday also falls on 28th. She has always said that she wanted her wedding to fall on her birthday, so this is a dream come true for her.

Comedian AY Makun has been chosen to compère the wedding. Celebrities Goldie, Chike Ike, Queen Nwokoye, Waje, Empress Njamah and Kefee will be the power bridesmaids on the day. Lagos-based confectionery Cakes & Cream have been given the task of creating a wedding cake befitting the occasion. Details of the wedding gown are however shrouded in secrecy. We may just have to wait until the day to find out who got the job of designing the gown.

We say congratulations to Mercy, and we pray that God will guide her every step of the way as she prepares for her big day.
