CAST AND CREW OF DAGRIN MOVIE ARRESTED - RELEASED!

Some members of the cast and crew of Ghetto Dreamz  - the movie about late hip-hop artiste Dagrin, were last night arrested as they were shooting the crash, which took the life of the artiste. While attempting to shoot the crash scene, a disagreement developed between the police escorts attached to the film crew and a number of street kids popularly known as area boys in the Ikeja area of Lagos. Unfortunately, a patrol unit from another police command who came along as the disagreement was escalating, mistook it as the scene of an actual accident rather than a staged one. Consequently, Dagrin's car, which was being used as part of the shoot was towed off to the police station. The set designer, some cast members, and the drivers of the car and two trucks, which were being used for the crash scene were also taken down to the police station. Executive Producer of the movie, Ope Banwo, was notified about this development at about 12.30AM, and following his quick intervention, all the cast and crew members, who were taken down to the police station were subsequently released. Here is wishing the cast and crew a hitch-free shoot from here on.
