MERCY JOHNSON, INI EDO, OR UCHE JUMBO?

In the running for the Best Actor of The Year award in The Future Awards, which takes place today, are Mercy Johnson, Ini Edo, and Uche Jombo. By the end of today, one of these three talented actresses would have been declared as the Best Actor of The Year. The Future Awards is a Nigerian youth event, which is now into it's sixth edition. It will take place this year at the Landmark Village, Victoria, Island, Lagos. This year's event will have in attendance This year’s event will see performances by MI, Banky W, and Ice Prince. The keynote speaker for this year is former MD of Goldman Sachs and Minister for Finance, Olusegun Aganga. The event is billed for 1000 guests and it is strictly by invitation, although it will be streamed live on the Internet.

The three actresses who are up for nomination in the Best Actor category definitely had a remarkable 2010. Ini Edo produced and premiered her first movie entitled Memories of the Heart in 2010. Apart from acting in a number of movies last year, made her first foray into movie production. In her first attempt at movie production, Uche produced not one, but two movies in partnership with Emem Isong, these were Nollywood Hustlers, and Holding Hope. Mercy Johnson continued to thrill fans in 2010 with her impressive acting skills in movies such as White Hunters, 2 Dollaz, and Room Service. In case you missed it, the Best Actor of The Year - will be a woman!

    All 3 are great actresses, but since there has to be a winner, it will have to be MERCY JOHNSON for me. I love her screen presence, she is a very talented actress, she always draws me in when I watch her in action.

    To me the three of them are very talented in what they do and they have also got different personalities. For me, Mercy Johnson is d very best, she shone like an eagle in 2010. Anytime l see her name on a movie jacket, l always rush to buy d film. I wish all three actresses all d very best and may d best win in Jesus name amen.
