Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has lashed out at ThisDay Style magazine for not listing her among one of the best dressed at the recently concluded AMVCA 2016 award ceremony. The actress attended the event wearing a floor length evening dress from fashion house, House of Luminee. The actress had been widely complimented on her oufit, and it came as a surprise to many that she did not make the list compiled by Thisday Style.
Responding to the snub via Instagram, the actress accused Thisday Style of bias, pointing out that no Yoruba actor had ever been featured on the cover of the publication. Furthermore, she stated that she was sure that Thisday Style would not want to stain the cover of their publication with a razz, local, Yoruba actor. Thisday Style is yet to respond to the allegation.
