FIANCÉ'S FAMILY BATTLES STEPHANIE OKEREKE

Ever since CEO of Del-York international, Linus Idahosa publicly proposed to star actress Stephanie Okereke  at Jay-Jay Okocha's Club 10, last October, fans and friends have been waiting eagerly for announcement of wedding plans. However, reports have it that the delay in the announcement of wedding plans may not be unconnected to opposition from members of Idahosa's family. According to reports a visit by the couple to the family home of Idahosa in Lagos did not yield any tangible result. It is said that his mother may be a  major obstacle to the union of the two lovebirds. His sister is also said not to be too enthusiastic about the prospect of Linus getting married to Stephanie. However, the decision of the pair to get married remains as strong as ever, and one can only hope that love wins out at the end of the day.

Linus Idahosa is an international media consultant and agent for CNN in Nigeria. Stephanie is an Executive Director in Idahosa's company, Del-York International, which is the sole representative of the New York Film Academy in Nigeria. Idahosa proposed to Stephanie in October 2010, at a surprise birthday party, which took place at Club 10 (Victoria Island), which is owned by Jay Jay Okocha.

  8. Are we still in the old age..pls go ahead and get married if you really love each other. I am sick of these mother in laws telling thier adult children who and who not to marry. A man that has a successful business should have enough sense to chose the right woman. Its all about having their way and not really caring about the feelings of the couple involved. I guess he takes care of them financially and don't want to lose from all the goodies they are getting. annoying brats.
